The ads have been made by the German advertising agency Kempertrautmann, based out of Hamburg, Germany. I luuurved watching the Surreal Life when I was Stateside. For those who haven’t experienced it is basically a bunch of have-been celebrities in a Big Brother sorta reality show and it is what I would classify as my ‘guilty pleasure’. Check out this clip from a recent show in which Ron Jeremy (Godfather of Porn) upsets Vanilla Ice! And then check out Vanilla go primitive on a video tape of Ice Ice Baby!

GERALDO vs O’REILLY

This is what good tv is all about and I miss it!

In what must be one of the most bizzare TV moments in recent TV history, Fox News “commentator” Bill O’Reilly squared off Thursday, April 5, 2007 with fellow Fox celebrity “investigate journalist” Geraldo Riveria in a verbal wrestling match over something that remotely resembled the issue of illegal immigrants in the United States.

Like most of Fox’s ‘fair and balanced’ reporting, this debate had little to offer in terms of substance but was highly entertaining.

Starting with the usual twisted logic and hyperbolic setup that O’Reilly frequently employs, the debate revolved around his assertion that a fatal car accident in Virginia Beach Va. involving an undocumented drunk driver was a direct result of the city’s welcoming attitude towards ‘illegal immigrants from Mexico’.

O’Reilly admonished the town’s Mayor and Police Chief along with Virginia’s Governor for not “enforcing US immigration laws”, claiming their lack of action directly resulted in the deaths of two teenage girls. O’Reilly then started talking with Riveria to discuss the problem of illegal immigrants driving drunk (because that’s what drunk illegal immigrants from Mexico do, they get drunk, get into a car and drive around looking for gringos to slaughter!) and the deaths of the teenagers in Virginia…and the verbal melee began.

Normally this should have been a hard match to score with two esteemed intellects like O’Reilly and Riveria going at it. Having an etremely low opinion of Rivera, I was impressed to see him stand up to O’Reilly and articulate his point. Besides O’Reilly just looked so damn rabid as he spit and snarled, anything even remotely inteligent coming from Rivera would have looked like pure genius compared to the bombastic bloviating of the Loofah-boy.

BAMBI MEETS GODZILLA!

This has to be one of the funniest short I have seen in a while, and is a pretty good indicator of the kind of humor noir I have come to identify with and appreciate.. So enjoy this wonderful animated feature while you sip some scotch and nibble on dark chocolate.

Apparently this pasty bastard did a 180! I watched him on Fox and really really disliked him… not only for being such a dumb and loud Republican mouth piece, but also for the wierd whitish circles around his eyes!

So now he is criticizing Bush and the Governments policies and accepts as what the commie Liberals and moral-less Democrats have been saying for so long – “Bush is an Idiot!” Anyway, I am glad this Republican had the balls to switch; or was it a sense of marketability… maybe he senses the end for Republicans in the White House, maybe he senses that the tide is slowly but surely turning… quien sabe! THE PUBLICIST

One day, there was a blind man sitting on the steps of a building
with a hat by his feet and a sign that read:

“I am blind, please help.”

A creative publicist was walking by and stopped to observe.
He saw that the blind man had only a few coins in his hat.
He dropped in more coins and, without asking for permission,
took the sign and rewrote it.

He returned the sign to the blind man and left.
That afternoon the publicist returned to the blind man and noticed
that his hat was full of bills and coins.

The blind man recognized his footsteps and asked
if it was he who had rewritten his sign
and wanted to know what he had written on it.

The publicist responded: “Nothing that was not true. I just wrote the
message a little differently.” He smiled and went on his way.

The new sign read: “Today is Spring and I cannot see it.”
